Message from the Principal

I would like to start by thanking our students for a fantastic start to our school year here at Battlefield Public School! Right from the first day of school, expectations for these students have been very high. To their credit, they are working extremely hard to meet these expectations. We are continuing with our Literacy focus as we hone in on “Reading for Meaning” and various writing skills. Our Math focus is based on teaching through Problem Solving. Your help and support throughout the year will continue to benefit these children and is greatly appreciated by us here at the school. On behalf of the students and staff, thank you! We really appreciate your enthusiasm, suggestions and support in working through the day-to-day challenges that our students face and recognize that we can’t do it without you!

I would also like to thank the staff for their efforts, dedication and willingness to go “above and beyond” for the sake of our students. As a result, our students have numerous opportunities to take part in book clubs, sports-related activities, music lessons, arts and crafts clubs and various other extra-curricular activities.
